FIRME R

Firme R is a Mexican-American artist from El Paso, Texas, making music based on real experiences and everyday situations.

His sound comes from regional mexicano and corridos tumbados, but he doesn’t try to stay stuck in one style. Most of the writing comes from things he’s lived through, relationships, late nights, mistakes, pressure, and just trying to figure life out as it comes.

Songs like “EL CUENTO,” “La Loquera Me Aliviana,” and “ES LO QUE ES” show different sides of that. Some songs are more serious, some have more humor or frustration, but the writing stays direct and personal. A lot of it is meant to sound like something you would actually say, not something written just to sound deep.

That’s really what Firme R is about. Making music people can hear and relate to because they’ve probably felt something similar before.

With EL VACIO, the music is moving into a new chapter. The sound is getting darker and more personal, with songs about pressure, sleepless nights, responsibility, isolation, and trying to keep going when you’re not at your best.
